Winter sewing

A tutorial I've been working on for Extra Curricular magazine. I think the finished result is going to be pretty. I haven't done much embroidery, but Melissa's work has always inspired me.

I really enjoy handsewing. I've been thinking about making a quilt, to quilt by hand over the winter. It sounds like such a cozy project, but I'm not sure if I'll have the stamina...

  2. Attempt one of these winter sewing patterns in the new year, regardless of whether it's a texture you haven't set out to attempt yet or an outline you thought you couldn't pull off. Each time the season transforms, it exhibits a chance to take a stab at something new in sewing. Possibly it's a texture you haven't set out to attempt yet or perhaps it's an outline you thought you couldn't pull off.
While we don't trust in sewing patterns as the be-all-end-for the season's sewing ventures, we do consider it to be a chance to try different things with some new styles and strategies that you haven't pondered some time recently. tweed chanel
