A project waiting to be finished

I was given a big box of quilt pieces that once belonged to my Oma. It turns out that the pieces were all cut from old clothes belonging to her and her children. An unfinished project waiting for someone to pick it up again. So I started by washing some of the fabrics. I love seeing how the different eras of fashion are represented by the different prints, and even the seam lines, where Oma has unpicked a dart.

Cold tea and cute toes

Max has told us he is a kid now, not a baby anymore. Iggy has discovered his toes. There is a lot of unfolded washing lying about. I drink my tea cold now.
