Soba and strawberries

Last night I made cold soba noodles with seaweed and shrimp, based on this receipe by Yotam Ottolenghi. It was cool and spicy, sweet and salty, perfect for this hot, humid weather. I'm kinda obessed with Ottolenghi's new vegetarian cookbook Plenty. It's such an inspiring take on vegetarian food, not that I'm a vegetarian, but after seeing Food Inc., I've been looking for other alternatives. Strawberries are in season right now, huge and bursting. They remind me of Christmas in New Zealand.
